Stayed in private room, very large and spacious with lots of natural light (offset by a tiny bathroom!). Door to room 2ft from reception desk and door intercom, which was an issue given anyone entering hostel door had to use intercom (no keys). I stayed for 5 days .. Its in the center of city .. You can reach everywhere by walking and can find a staff for 24 hours ready to help you ...Its the best hostel in St.petersburg never think about an other one..

Compaired to other youth hostels I have stayed in, MIR is definitely at the top of the scale. The hostel is more of a large apartment thats been transformed into a hostel. I had been in Mir hostel and the staff are very nice and helpfull. Hostel is clean and good. the rooms are big and light. also they have a good breakfast in the morning. i definetly will come back here again. I like Mir hostel and staff!!!
