We stayed at this hotel because it is located near where our son is living. Overall we were satisfied. Very clean, modern room with coffee/ tea supplies. Also with fully stocked minibar fridge, with items for sale, but we did not partake. Even though the room overlooked a busy road, it was very quiet due to double windows, and being... More

Sonya is one of my usual places to stay in St. Petersburg. Fairly central location near the Liteint Bridge and the Finland Railway station on the opposite side of the Neva River and within reasonable distance from the Chernyshevskaya metro station make it a convenient address for business. The breakfast is fairly basic, but they got the essentials like a... More

The room size is small and bed is extremely soft but overall it is a nice chic boutique hotel in downtown SPB. It is quite conveniently located with restaurants and walking distance to Nevsky Prospect. Service is prompt and helpful. It is overall a pleasant stay.

The hotel belongs to the Rezidor hotel chain (and that's why we've chosen it), however it's a small, very charming and impeccably clean boutique hotel in the very centre of Sankt Petersburg (it resembles a bit Radisson Prado hotel in Madrid). It has an unforgettable design, inspired by Dostoyevsky's novels - and it's really classy design, not annoying at all.... More

To start with we chose this hotel which was less centrally located than the others we had been considering, because we had the impression that the rooms would be quite spacious. But no, the double room was quite small, almost entirely occupied by the huge double bed (lovely and soft). The interior of the room is beautiful, bold colours, tasty... More

Smart business hotel just away from the centre. Great staff and food in the restaurant, one of the best in the city. Sumptuous breakfast in the covered courtyard. Nice and warm although -26C outside. Reception staff most helpful. Room decor may not be to everones taste but i liked it. Themed on crime and Punishment by Dostoyevsky, so a little... More

absolutely stunning boutique hotel themed after dostoyevsky novels. the rooms are on a smaller side, at least the mezzanine one i got, but i looked at it as an opportunity to experience what the life of an artist, who frequently live in small mezzanines is like. the hotel lobby and interiors follow the dostoyevsky theme, e.g. next to each door... Our room was dark and cold.Terribly soft bed. Only 3 English channels all of them presenting The news over and over again... considering the price one would expect a little bit more. The hotel is located by a very busy street and far away from the metro plus no interesting places to dine or relax exept for Scottish pub across... More

We had two night stay at the business class room at 7th (the attic) floor. The entire hotel is decorated with dedication to Fyodor Dostoyevsky's 'Crime and Punishment' novel, there were citations on the walls and carpets, old books in the lobby, and some other stylish elements everywhere. All three windows in our room were locked due to winter season,... More

Ive been lucky enough to stay in quite a few hotels around the world recently and without doubt this is the best. This hotel is superb, modern, clean and beautifully planned out and has great TV and free wifi. We had a room on the front looking onto the main road and no noise at all. Its in a great... More
