Stayed here as part of organised tour. On arrival, no porters available to help with luggage.check in was a bit chaotic. Rooms modern & swish. Wifi in rooms. Breakfast was a big bun fight! The restaurant was unable to cope with large groups arriving all at the same time. We struggled to find a table free, often tables weren't reset... More

SOKOS bridge palace is a well furbished comfortable hotel for groups but do not expect a quiet enjoyable stay if you wait for some relax family stay as Mexican groups will make your stay a stressfull one specially for breakfast time with no seat available and fight to get anything from the open continental buffet. Of course, the city is... More

It was a bit hard to find and a little expensive but other than that it was great. The beds were soft. It was quiet and clean. The spa/pool was really interesting. They had a variety of different saunas from 100c to a cold sauna that even had snow. It was really a beautiful. It was fairly close to all... More

Like the previous reviewer we were upgraded to this hotel due to overbooking at the Vasilevsky and paid for the "privilege". There are two restaurants in this hotel but unless you are very adventurous and have no dietary inhibitions in reality there is only one,Sevilla. The other restaurant is a "dine in the dark experience" Sevilla is Spanish themed so... More

we were 'upgraded' to this hotel when its sister hotel was overbooked. Unfortunately that meant paying more for the services in the hotel. As there was a large group checking in at once, it was a bit chaotic, but first impressions of the hotel were good. The rooms are of good proportions, very comfortable beds and adequate storage. There was... More

We stayed in this hotel in late June/early July 2012 because it was offered through an arrangement that included the round trip cruise between Helsinki and St. Petersburg. We found the staff disorganized and almost rude, with unusually poor proficiency in common international languages such as English. The room was clean and spacious enough, but had a generic quality that... More

My spouse and I spent 3 nights at this hotel with a group of fellow American expats from London. It is tucked away on a side street less than a block from the river, and while it did not seem to be walking distance to most of the places we visited (we were on a bus), there was a subway... More

Moved here after a problem at another hotel. Great rooms, quiet sleep and good choice at breakfast, free wifi in most rooms (not all had a signal), and pleasant lobby area. Only problem is the stairs to get in the entrance would be difficult for those with difficulty walking. Great location on the island. Unfortunately the spa was out of... More

Saw now on my 10 days longing trip 4 hotels and 6 rooms and this hotel has definitely been the best I had during the whole time. I booked two nights within a St. Petersburg trip with St. Peterlines form Helsinki. The room was of appropriate size with modern interior, very clean, the check in was friendly. Two bottles of... Arrived after a very long journey from Australia which was in excess of 40 hrs - so very tired. Check in was fast and efficient upon arrival without any fuss. Everything clean and tidy, then went to room - good size and very comfortable, beds very comfortable an the room very quiet. A great night sleep and then went to... More
