Whilst we went with a Russian friend which helped settle us in and once you got past the entrace it was a great place to stay. Fairly large room, okay a little dated but for the time you were in the hotel it was great.

As was said in previous review entrance is eery ...hotel on 3rd floor ,small rickety old elevator gets you there. Entrance hallway from street is dark and dirty. Very nice and comfortable hotel. There wasn't my first trip in Saint-Petersbourg, but only this time a have so great impressions for my accomodation. And location also is very well - near the Palace Square))) Thanks for a tasty breakfast!
The purpose of our visit was sightseeing. That is why i chose the hotel "Residence Moika" [--]. Nevsky Prospect, The Hermitage, the Palace are only in a few minutes walking distance from it. It`s difficult to imagine the better placement!
We had a great view on the river Moika by the well;) One more thing! The price! Even lower than...
