The reception staff spoke good English but some receptionists were rude to the guests who wanted to pick up their room keys. Food in the restaurant (both for breakfast and dinner) was good, but the... More

Azimut Hotel now manages the former Vladivostok Hotel as well as the former Amursky Zaliv hotel as a single entity. In my experience, the two buildings are very different and should not be confused. Some of the photos here show a curved building - that is the Amur Bay building. I stayed 2 nights in the Vladivostok building as part... More

After being two weeks in Siberia and Eastern Russia, it was a relief to find a hotel with English speaking staff. The receptionist at the desk immediately helped us sort out things with our taxi driver and at night we had a beer while having a decent conversation with the girl behind the bar. The breakfast is also rather good... More

We enjoyed our stay although it was a little noisy at night. The noise came from outside the hotel from construction sites (at 11 pm), dogs barking, car alarms going off etc. Reception staff were very obliging and spoke reasonable English. The hotel restaurant was fabulous. Their chef is wasted there as there were few people eating on all three... More

My wife and I visited about three years ago and for the most part enjoyed the trip. There was no air conditioning however, and it took a while to get us a fan. The food in the hotel is marginal, while most the food we experienced was above average. I suspect that Russian hotels are rather spartan by western standards,... More
