Pretty disappointed, not from the hotel as a whole, rooms were good, lobby was ok, but then there are plenty of inconvinices. Staff spoke mainly Russian, barely anyone speaking any other language. Strange enough, because we looked for a more business oriented hotel, any Alfa claim to be one. Then internet – a disaster, have you seen a temporary hotel... More

We stayed for 5 days to Alfa hotel. It is nearby partizansaya metro station and Iznaylovsky Park.Izmailovo Hotel complex(Alfa, beta, Gamma e.t.c) was built for the athletes of the olympic games in 1980. So, it is a soviet hotel with old furniture and dirty carpets in the rooms. When we stayed the aircondition wasn't working (the weather was extremely hot:34C).... More

I stay one night to Alfa hotel, mainly because it is nearby metro station Partizanskaya and therefore very confortable to start my Moskow city tour of next day. It is a soviet hotel built up for olimpic game 1980. Fortunately some renovation works have been done, but it was not completely renovated. Plus are location, bathroom newly renovated, breakfast buffet... More

The main advantage of the hotel is just in front of the Partizanskaja station of the metro. This makes it a good choice if you do not want to spend a lot of money to stay in the city centre, but rather prefer saving some money with the small disadvantage of just a 6-stop ride to the Red Square. We... More

Very good hotel, reasonable price, clean renovated room, good heathing, good breakfast, close to metro station Partizanskaja (15min from Red Square), reasonable price. Slow wifi, stuff not speaking english or any other language, not very friedly. I would stay there again!Gret view, close to Izmailovo market...

Hotel is not so modern, but has very convenient location near to underground station, so you can reach the centre in 15-20 minutes. There is also a park nearby. From upper floors there is a wonderful view to a Moscow. Room is quite comfortable, clean and spacious. Breakfast was very good, wide range of meals, fruits, cereals etc. Staff wasn't... More

Hotel Alpha Moscow review. I must say that I was a bit dubious about booking this Hotel as it is listed as an all round Budget Hotel which in the past along with its sister Hotels at the Izhmailovo complex has received some bad reviews. Well just goes to show don’t always believe what you read. Here’s the good points….... More

Cant really say too much bad about hotel. Room great (business double) for the price I paid. Staff helpful and pleasant but lacking warmth.Breakfast a disappointment. Huge array of food on display - alas most of the cooked food while looking great was inedible. Lobby bars and coffee shops grossly overpriced. All in all - have stayed in for worse... More

I stayed as a guest of a business client at this hotel, so I had no input as far as selecting it goes. Having said that....it was okay. The good: Great Bed. Fantastic Shower. You could strip paint with that shower. Great View Incredible Breakfast Buffet. Wild. Over the top. Huge. Fattening. Yummy. Dude playing a jazz medley of "Raindrops... More
