Katerina City was our choice (3 friends) for a 4 days / 3 nights visit of Moscow. The location is perfect, near to Paveletskaya train / metro - station, ideal to take the aeroexpress to Domodedova airport or the metro to teatralnaya (kremlin & red sqaure - green line: 2 metro stops). Moreover, staff is very friendly and breakfast is... More

Our stay at Katerina City was excellent, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, within walking distance of Paveleskiy railroad/metro station if you don't have a lot of luggage. You can catch the Aeroexpress train from Domodedova airport and in 45 minutes your there. Just look for the red-and-white Aeroexpress signs to the ticket machines. I... More

I found the staff of the Katerina to be extremely helpful and friendly. The locality right in the centre of Moscow, about 40 minutes stroll to the Klemlin and Red Square is ideal. With the Metro Station (Paveletskaya) a few minutes walk away you are independent of taxi transport and getting to any place in Moscow was a breeze. With... More

Dear Guest, thank you for sharing your experience. Great to hear you found our staff helpful and friendly and the location ideal with Paveletskaya Station just a few minutes walk from our hotel. It is a great tip to use the Metro, especially during rush hour when the Moscow traffic is heavy. Not only is it efficient - it is... More

Katerina city was my choice for a 2 night Moscow stopover. It is conveniently located close to the paveletskaya train stn. It is a pretty basic hotel but with helpful staff and a hearty breakfast.

This unpretentious hotel has almost everthing that I want from a hotel. The room that we had was clean, as was the bathroom. The free minibar was stocked each day with water (still and bubbly), coke, orange juice, peanuts, chips and chocolate biscuits. The reception staff was polite and helpful. There were free newspapers in English. There was free WiFi... More

This hotel is smaller than many of the big chains like Hilton and Marriotts. It was friendly but reasonably formal with a mix of tourists and business travellers, Russians and all sorts of nationalities, a couple of groups on trips and some independent travellers. Everything is very clean and well organised, looks like a modern-ish build. Over about 6 floors... More

The good things first - the food in the bar is excellent for the price and the bar is open 24 hours. Plus there is an OK gym and sauna. Close to Pavaletskaya station (airport express to Domodedova) and green/brown metro lines However, if you end up in the "small" room (they price by square footage) the room will be... More

Very good hotel, walk distance from train and Metro stations, excellent breakfast, clean and quiet room, good food and drinks at the hotel bar, free wi-fi, free water and some snacks in the room. Good hotels are expensive in Moscow, and this one is not different, but I believe that worth the price.
