Stayed here 4 nights on business, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Its immaculately clean, great linens, spotless bathrooms. Some have said out of date or in need of a refurb - certainly not my experience, its all very well maintained and fresh. As with other places in Moscow, take a deep breath when receiving the bill, food... More

Dear Beltel, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. It makes us happy to hear our guests are enjoying their stay with us. You are correct – the metro is very close to the hotel and 3 different stations can be reached within a 10 minute walk. We look forward to seeing you here again. Kind regards,... More

I have been here several times, leisure or business, each time i was very happy with outcome.I experienced service for regular room while on leisure or lounge for buiseness. Food, service, staff, gym, pool always at best. Prices in restaurants are high like in every hotel in Moscow yet difficult to swallow when the bill comes. Cakes in the bar are delicious

I stayed at this hotel last week, while travelling on business. I have to say – it was a great experience. For a foreigner, Moscow is a great, but difficult city: taxis are unreliable, winter lasts for 6 months, people aren’t always too willing to help….But last week, while at this Renaissance, I felt like I was at home. The... More

Dear Mickael_Review, Thank you for taking the time to write this detailed review. Moscow is indeed a great city, but at times it certainly can be a bit difficult to handle, especially as a foreigner. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and we are happy we helped you feel at home during your travels. We look forward to seeing... More

The hotel is a good 12-minute walk from the closest metro station (Prospekt Mira). The rooms are basic and comfortable. The swimming pool was clean, with a decent size sauna and a lukewarm Jacuzzi (which was a pity). Breakfast was very good, with sufficient variety of choices that varied throughout our 4-day stay. It would have been nice if free-wifi... More

Dear charminglamb, Thank you for your review, and I am pleased that you had a pleasant stay with us. I looked into your experience with the concierge team. From my understanding you were exploring many different options during your stay, and I think that over that time many of our concierge were trying to help as you were approaching them.... More

I stayed at this property for four days while on a business trip to Moscow. The hotel was very dated indeed. I was also shocked at the fact that there were prostitutes inside the hotel soliciting business. When I asked for a taxi at the front desk, the concierge called a taxi that ended up costing me 1000 rubles. It... More

Dear 2741Bodensee, Thank you for your review. I can confirm that the 1000 ruble charge does match the standard charging for the official registered Taxi company operating from our hotel. It is true that rates do vary across the city particularly between registered and non-registered operators. With regards to the alleged prostitution, I will investigate this as we do not... More

Our stay at the hotel was very good but there were two experiences with the Front Office and Concierge which really ruined it for us. We booked an airport pick-up through the hotel but nobody was there when we arrived. We asked around, spoke to other Drivers and walked outside (in minus 10 degrees) to try to find him. It... More

Dear Adam M, Thank you for your review, I appreciate that you took the time to write it and share your experiences. I have personally investigated the points that you have raised. Stayed here one night during a business trip. Reception staff were very helpful, as was the concierge who patiently called the airport several times on my behalf to try to locate my lost laptop. Dear Amy810, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Our bed sheets are 100% cotton, therefore possibly the carpet is causing the static, in combination with the cold and dry air in the city. We will investigate this situation. This Renaissance does not dissappoint your Marriott Standard, stuff is very friendly. Rooms are very nice, good size and clean. The area is also nice, there is a park, a shopping street and nice restaurants around. Also a free shuttle down town is available. The gym and the sauna is up to date.
