Based on the other reviews I was dreading being here but it's fine. Decent size room with windows and rooftop views. good free WiFi (am on it now), helpful porter and a very good central location. Will be back here in the next week or so and will comment if anything changes. Nicer than the faceless chains for sure.

Maximum 2 stars, even by Moscow standards. No daily cleaning, no towels changing (explanation: "we have only foot towels available today"), empty food tray in a breakfast, unasked wake-up call at 6 AM, broken shower head - enough reasons to stay away in spite of a good location.

I had a junior suit, but in was on the top floor and no elivator. This hotel is more of a hostel. I didn't try the breakfast. Wifi is available downstairs, but costs and does not work in the rooms. Good thing is it is very central and walking distance from the Kremlin.
