Stayed here a while ago now but am going back over some places I've stayed as I plan my next holiday. This was quite a basic hostel, hard to find but pretty well located once you find your way around. The walk into Red Square etc is - as others have said - about 20 mins and fairly pleasant. There's... More

For huge city like Moscow the location of the hostel is great, maybe 20 minutes walk from Red Square, 10 minutes walk from Old Arbat, 10 minutes walk from metro station. Toilets and shower rooms were always clean, rooms are big, bed was very comfortable, only minus is that they don't have private lockers in rooms.

I stayed here for three nights and it was ok, but I wouldn't want to stay any longer. It's hard to find good (and cheap!) accommodation in Moscow though, so you have to lower your expectations. The pros of this hostel: the location (around 20 minutes walk to Red Square), the rooms are cleaned every day, there's always hot water.... More

Staff - very nice and helpful. Facility - so so. What seems like an important note - the hostel is in two buildings and apparently the staff does not monitor the second building away from the staff residence. People partying until 4 a.m. - guy returned to male dorm with girl, though thankfully apparently to sleep, with two to the... More

Be carefull with the reservation as it is made in euros and payment must be made in rublos. So when we arrived the exchange rate was much worse than the actual one. This is a hostel not a currency exchange office. They shouldnt try to gain money with this...The staff was ok. The toilets and shower rooms were tiny and... More

Not so centrally located but if you don't mind the walk you can get to Red Square and Kremlin in about 20 minutes or very convinient from Park Kultury underground station which is closes to this hostel (5min walk). Anyway town is connected so good by the underground and you have supermarket, shops, many exchange offices nearby. Staff is really... More

Stayed here in December 2009. The place is clean and the staff very friendly. The location is a walkable distance from Park Kultury Metro Station. There are many local shops around to buy bread and milk and other food stuff. Enjoyed the environment as you meet lots of people from different countries travelling the world. One evening we went for... More

I spent 3 days in this Hostel. Friendly stuff. Nice kitchen and a clean liwing room for the guests. Free internet, they have 2 computer in the common area. The good thing is that you can walk to the Kremlin and the Red Square follow the Moscova river. The bad things are. is expensive ( like everything in Moscow) and... More

Moscow is an expensive city, which is probably the excuse that the management would give for the poor state of repair of this hostel. However, so is St Petersburg and their hostels are leagues apart. Moscow home is hard to find on arrival in the city. I had to call about 7 times to get directions because the receptionist kept... More

Moscow home hostel is not easy to find. For the first time experience in Moscow where sign and directions are written in Russian, and only youth speak and understand english you will take time to reach the place. But it's abotut 10 minutes walk from a metro station. about 20 minutes walking to Kremlin and Red Square. Arbat Area is... More
