I knew I was going to stay here after reading the positive reviews on trip advisor and also checking out the pictures about this BnB on the internet. I;ve never really encountered a negative feedback from this humble bnb. These guests were not lying. This place is affordable, clean and the people who work there are just very nice. Expect... More

No complaints. A short Taxi ride away from all the cebu city attractions. Friendly staff. Decent food. Cheap beer. Rooms were nice. Showers were strong and hot. Good value.

Good value for money, its a large bungalow.Price reasonable, pleasant restaurant with wi fi, quiet rooms, friendly staff....deserves to be at the top of the listings....but you need to book...as it is popular.Central. I shall book it next time to avoid disappointment......could not get in here on my way home, and paid alot more for the Cebu Plaza, which was... More

Our stay was very pleasant... the rooms were big and clean. We were a big group and had to get 2 family rooms. The owner even called me a few days before we arrived to confirm and talk about our preferences for the room. Their prices are good value for your money since the rates even include breakfast... and the... More

we stayed here February 2011. our first experience with the management was not ideal. our flight got in at around 10pm, and arrived at casa escano a little past 11pm. the very first person we encountered was the care taker (or was he the security guard?) informing us that we did not have a reservation and that they were fully... Dear Kristine, We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience upon your arrival. We experienced some technical problems in our reservations wherein our bookings were erased. We're glad that our staff were able to compensate for the rest of your stay. We look forward to seeing you again in the near future. cheers ! Jimmy Escano More

Good Day, after returning from a small island off Cebu, we added 1 night the Casa Escano in Cebu, which we found through the Internet. A very pleasant and nice stay, simple but very clean and well organized rooms, fantastic local and international cuisine, great location and fantastic ambience, met the owner as well and got a little history info... The hotel is not the easier to find, as it is located off the main street. It took us about half an hour from the airport to the hotel due to bad traffic, and remember to always take the white cab as it is cheaper than the yellow cab. Also always get them to run on meter! When we arrived,... More

Thank you for your review.poppy313 of Singapore & for staying with us. Re travel time : Considering the traffic, 30 minutes is very good. With heavy traffic, it could get up to 1 hr. We are located in a secondary road & there are no public utility vehicles passing this street except for the (white) taxis you mentioned. This makes... More

i dont really understand why this "hotel" is ranked so up? It is located in a noicy street, room was really so simple without forxample telephone and minibar. Sleeping quality was not really good and curtains were so thin sunshine woke me up daily 7 am on the morning. This is not a hotel because there is no room service,... More

Thank you Niko_sta of Kotia, Finland for your review. May I correct you on our property. We are categorizing ourselves as a B&B and not a hotel. Therefore, being a B&B we intentionally did not put telephones in the rooms so as to give our guests the much needed privacy. Almost all people have cell phones nowadays. We also did... More

bathroom unclean, many prostitutes just in front at night, old furnitures, no desk (room service stop at 8pm...), my room wasn't clean for 2 days,... I really dont understand why this place is so overrated here (thats why I stayed there for 6 nights). For half price, there are some much better place about same place in Juana Osmena or... More

Thank you Oince A of Paris for your review. Again we thank you for pointing out the cleanliness of our bathrooms. After reading your review we have made it a point to double check the walk thru made before a room is given to our guests. Admittedly, some areas of this street has those "night owls" lurking on dimly lit... More

We stayed here for three days, and were very happy with our stay. The staff are wonderful, friendly and always helpful. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom. Shower was fine, good water pressure. TV had plenty of channels to choose from. OK, its not 5 star, but why would you want to pay double the price and... More
