We stayed here for our first 2 nights in the Philippines and were glad we chose Casa Escano. The family room (2 queen beds) was spacious and comfortable. We arrived late on the first night but this was not a problem. The staff were very helpful and easily arranged a driver to take us to Danoe for our ferry to... More

We were only suppose to stay here for 5 days but we ended up staying in additional 10 days. We were treated like family. Their service staff is remarkable, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the food is excellent. This bed and breakfast is the model for all bed and breakfasts. Amenities include wi-fi, air-conditioning, hot and cold showers, and... More

I had contacted this hotel several times by email with the effort to make a booking with them for my trip in Cebu. It was unpleasant experience. I must say that their booking system is really a nightmare for who try to get a direct booking like me. I emailed them first to ask their room rate and the way... More

Hotel is old style, small, near the mall, environment is nice even though it's in the middle of the city, rooms are not expensive and quite roomy, beds are comfortable and mattresses are thick, tv has great reception, bathroom has hot shower, friendly and helpful staff, complimentary breakfast, not a super busy hotel, quite relaxing. Food is awesome, they even... More

Good location and customer service, comfortable rooms. Its the perfect place stay if you are looking for peace and quiet. The restaurant serves good food. The ambiance is also relaxing. It is a nice feeling that people here sincerely care about you and if you are enjoying your vacation. 1. As we were unable to do much research, we had... More

Dear Arian Traveler, Thank you for your time in writing out a review of Casa Escaño. We try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The reason for the "no meals" in the rooms is that we try to avoid those little pests that feast on food that accidentally fall to the floor & might be overlooked by our... More

Casa Escaño is strategically located in the heart of Cebu City. It's near Ayala Center and the Capitol, which are actually within walking distance from this B&B. Its room rate per night is pretty reasonable. We paid a little over PHP 2,000 per night for a deluxe room. However, the good stuff ends there. Casa Escaño's flaw is its CUSTOMER... More

Dear Caspru, Thank you for your kind review. Being a B&B is not an excuse to give professional service. We strive to give service equivalent to a hotel. We have also changed our housekeeping supervisor after you visited us. We have also corrected the problem on the wifi connection in our rooms. Once in a while we still have to... More

My officemates and I stayed at this B&B overnight since we caught the last flight out from Clark to Cebu. I chose this place because of the reviews here and partially because I wanted to try out and buy Les Chocolatiers which is available in Don Merto's Restaurant right next to Casa Escano. We arrived around 11pm via the transfers... More

Dear sakura_fujin, Thank you for your honest reviews of Casa Escaño B&B & Don Merto's Restaurant. As we are a B&B, we do not have staff 24/7. All the staff, including housekeeping are off 10 pm. For late arrivals, we give our security guard a copy of the guest registration form so the arriving guests can be directed to their... More
