We stayed four nights and booked with Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts. We were upgraded to the club floor. The staff were fantastic and made the stay. The Hotel is/ was undergoing renovations and this is absolutely necessary as the hotel looks worn out both from inside and out. The air conditioning in the room was fantastic, however for some... The hotel location is pretty central. The room and rest of the hotel needs to be remodeled. The pool seemed very nice and the hospitality was okay. There really isn't much to say about this hotel except that it's average.

nice big pool. great food choices: Tin Hau and Paseo Uno. We also enjoyed room service, they always include something complementary, something local like Suman, Pastillas, etc.. Standard rooms are bigger than average, but needs an upgrade or renovation. the bathroom is also big. Excellent buffet breakfast and buffet dinner at Paseo Uno.

Not impressed by room quality...but that I already had expected. Normally I am staying in The Peninsula when visiting Manila, but I was just curious about this hotel. Reading most of the reviews I noticed that the room quality was often reviewed as poor for this brand but still, the same people came back time after time for the kindness... More

Check in and out was fast. The staff at the restaurant where always helpful. Food was good with a large selection. Security was good and on the weekend there appeared to be additional staff wearing suits and not uniformed security guards. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are very large. Typical of Manila the roads are always busy but... More

We stayed three times in the last month, once for two days and twice for a day and day use between flights for our snorkeling expedition to the the resorts of the Philippines. Rooms on the non smoking floors have been updated nicely. Not so impressed with our room on 14th floor, as it was supposed to be no smoking... More

We ate there in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Pricey but the best buffet restaurant in Manila. If you are craving good cuts of red meat, superb seafood (including crabs, oysters and king prawns) go there to dine. Ask when booking when is the seafood night, if you fancy. We also celebrated my mother-in-law birthday there and they offered a small... More

I have stayed in a few hotels in Manila over the last few years, and this is my favourite. The hotel is total calm and comfort. The rooms are modern, but in a tasteful way. There is plenty of space, and the fittings are really nicely designed. Breakfast in the hotel café is very good, with lots of choice. The... More

I stayed for only 2 nights before departing with a group for snorkeling. I would have given a higher rating, but the hotel is undergoing exterior renovations so it can be noisy and the building doesn't look the best. On the positive side, the entire staff, and there are many, is friendly, cheerful (no glum faces), and helpful. Even one... More
