I was here for just one night - nothing impressive at all. Rooms are not so great, carpets give off a light odor ( did not want to use the word stink).... Stayed here for 3 nights. Service is great but location is far from the mall and other shopping area. You have to walk about 10 minutes to get to the nearest mall. Hotel lobby is small. Restaurant is a little bit pricey but good quality.

I think the Mandarin Oriental needs to be re-classified as a four-start hotel. It's starting to show it's age and barely up to par with the Mandarin Oriental brand in the rest of the world. Great service though. Breakfast is great, and the lunch buffet at Paseo Uno is one of the best in town.

This hotel was built about 40 years ago, and some parts of my room seemed like they haven't been changed from the original.
