As mentioned in other reviews it was the guy that worked the Copacabana / Puno bus that offered us the room. We negotiated a good price with him and got a free transfer from the bus to the hotel. Once there he goes into hard sell mode trying to push a tour of the islands and onward travel onto you.... More

The staff was very helpfull. Besides, you get a great room (tv, hot shower, nice wam beds) for a good price between the center and lake Titicaca. We didn´t use the breakfast service, but it´s an option.

The only way you end up staying at this hostel is to be conned into it by the scam artist who works the copa cabana - Puno bus. Don't listen to him. He stole our bus tickets, charged us extra, outright lied to us about amenities and location. Please, please don't stay there.
