The rooms are clean. Sheets were clean. Hot water sometimes depending on the time of day. Internet wifi was fast. It was nice sitting outside on the little porch with the river rolling in the background. Nice views of the colourful garden across the river. Rooms are not soundproof so you can hear noisy neighbours. Location perfect.

The lonely planet is too positive about this hostel. The mentioned owner David is nowhere to be seen. It's very basic en the staff adds also nothing extra. The kitchen smells bad and needs a good cleaning. Think about it before you stay at this hostel..

Nice private rooms. Hallways open onto back porch/deck over looking a rushing river. Great place to sit over a coffee or a beer. Updated kitchen. Steps to downtown and central square. Good value. Great Hotel/hostel option for Boquete.

This small hostel provides a rippling river chorus outside your bedroom window. The fully equipped kitchen and grill can be used morning, noon, and night.
