NIce location if a bit out of town, but nice to be on the beach.
The guys in the car park clean your car every day whether to needs it or not.
Very nice restaurant but seem a bit vague service wise for breakfast.

I had not been here since 2006 and was pleasantly surprised by the changes, including The Wreck restaurant. The rooms were as good as i recall, with very comfortable beds - the duvet weight is just right, the shower is excellent and a nice touch is the liquid soaps in the shower as well as at the basin. Very friendly...

We stayed here for 2 nights in a family room that consisted of 2 bedrooms - a twin and a double with sea views. It also had a kitchenette with a fridge and table and chairs. Ours was a ground floor room with sliding doors to a patio and access to the gardens and beach. The accomodation was spacious, clean...

One of only a couple of hotels in Swakopmund which is directly on the beach. Though small it has an excellent restaurant; a good buffet breakfast is provided, and dinner in the evenings is very good indeed. You have to make a specific reservation for dinner each night in good time because it is very popular with non-resident local people...

A nice, clean, quiet hotel on the beach with views out the immense "porthole" windows. Not really a swimming beach, for great for a stroll. The restaurant is very good, especially for sea food. It is an easy drive into the city of Swakopmund. Go to the street market for local crafts.

We spent 3 weeks in namibia and stayed at 10 different hotels/guest houses.
This place offers the best value for money.
Even the restaurant , the "Wreck" was the best of all.
Only rating that will do justice to this establishment is 10/10.

Whilst this hotel is located right on the beach with atlantic views from most rooms, it is not the dunes of the surrounding desert that threatens to engulf it but the seemingly endless estate of under construction high end homes... think Stepford Wives. It is a LONG drive into civilisation/town.
Rooms are very standard and uninspiring and the thin doors...

Stayed one night instead of three as owner so unfriendly and arrogant on arrival. Hotel clean but clinical and cold. An attitude of uncaring to tired and paying customers. No attempt made to sort out incorrect booking. Other staff fine and helpful but sadly they have no power.

This hotel was very nice. We had one of the basic rooms and I would liken it to the standard of a Protea hotel in South Africa, always clean, 'does exactly what it says on the tin'. Good range of breakfast items. Quiet residential area. With a bakkie, it did not matter whether we were 'close' to Swakopmund centre or...

We spent a lot of time trying to figure out where to stay in Swakopmund. We were going to stay at Hansa in town and I must say I'm glad we didn't.
This lodge is not right in town but close enough. It's right on the beach on a residential street so very quiet. The beach environment is beautiful and...
