One of only a couple of hotels in Swakopmund which is directly on the beach. Though small it has an excellent restaurant; a good buffet breakfast is provided, and dinner in the evenings is very good indeed. You have to make a specific reservation for dinner each night in good time because it is very popular with non-resident local people... More

A nice, clean, quiet hotel on the beach with views out the immense "porthole" windows. Not really a swimming beach, for great for a stroll. The restaurant is very good, especially for sea food. It is an easy drive into the city of Swakopmund. Go to the street market for local crafts. More

We spent 3 weeks in namibia and stayed at 10 different hotels/guest houses. This place offers the best value for money. Even the restaurant , the "Wreck" was the best of all. Only rating that will do justice to this establishment is 10/10. More

Stayed one night instead of three as owner so unfriendly and arrogant on arrival. Hotel clean but clinical and cold. An attitude of uncaring to tired and paying customers. No attempt made to sort out incorrect booking. Other staff fine and helpful but sadly they have no power. More
