We only had the misfortune to have a meal here, but feel we should pass on a warning about our experience. Biggest problem was the many, many flies. All parties eating in the restaurant were distressed by them. Eventually the waitress noticed them, and brought small candles which did little if anything to help. As we left, I was unhappy... More

It's a good property, we stayed here for 4 nights and kids enjoyed a lot, outdoor games facility specifically lawn tennis, badminton, swimming pool are attraction to the kids, even the property had its own personal beach. However the food quality was not good enough.

Old fashioned small uncomfortable rooms. Pool looking more like a basin. Klondike is very nice.. Was surprised when first heard about it and read the reviews.. its true that it is not wow but even though it is value for money.. Good food, variety of food, good service and peaceful. very nice. However, the swimming pool is not that attractive. Overall was satisfied.

The hotel needs a good upgrade and is rather shabby around the edges. The location is fine and the staff were friendly. The choice of food for both breakfast and dinner was extremely limited and of mediocre quality. We moved on after 3 nights to much better standard hotels. I had been there in 2008. The Hotel is on the Sea bed. Villas just a step away from the sea. Beautiful Hotel, Rooms, Cleanliness, Safety, Food(wil only enjoy if you are a non veggie, veggies will have to hunt. The Breakfast is LAVISH by the pool. SO is Buffet Dinner same way good food.

Many people think Mauritius is about package tours, all inclusive, beach resort, eat and drink as much as you can. And if you cannot afford those packages, you will not afford Mauritius.
