Our belated honeymoon in January to Cocoa Island was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we were met at Male Airport until the moment we were dropped back off there at the end of our break, I cannot find anything even mildly negative to say about either the staff or the island itself. Cocoa Island was My wife Karen's choice as... More

We just come back from Cocoa where we spent 10 days. Before I chose Cocoa, I read all the good comments at tripadvisor and that's why I decided to book Cocoa for our honeymoon (I know Banyan Tree, W, Barros, Kanuhura). I booked Cocoa, because I wanted a small island, a very good house reef, good food, having wonderful suns... More

Just back from our sixth trip to Cocoa and pleased to say we had another great experience. We will definitely return again, so when reading this review you will just see some comparisons we are seeing compared with our last stay. This time we stayed in the one-bedroom villa for the first time and if you can afford it, it... More

The setting of the resort is absolutely beautiful. Water is so clear and the rooms are so comfortable. They had an extensive menu which is very impressive given that there are less than 40 rooms. Food is delicious. I went to the spa twice. Highly recommend the deep tissue massage if you like the deep sort. We were fully relaxed... More

We have never in all of our life been anywhere as beautiful as Cocoa Island. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, the whole experience was amazing. Hellishly expensive, so don't come here if thats going to be a problem, as you will spend lots....... The food was top class. They employ a top Australian/half Indian Chef... More

We went to Cocoa Island on our Honeymoon in January 2012. We are very particluar about the quality of food & beverage. The range of menu, quality and freshness of produce, presentation and flavours were nothing short of amazing. Especially considering the location and the challenges we're sure it would bring. Truly a credit to the Aussie Chef! The efforts... More

Service - First class. Greeted at the airport, taken to their launch and to island with minimal fuss. Luggage taken from airport and delivered to the room. We were also met at the reception by the General Manager personally. With a tour of the island and facilities completed, we could start our holidays. Accommodation - Dhoni loft suite. King bed... We normally opt for culture and activity, so 8 days relaxing and lounging about was a bit of a departure and we wondered if we could cope with this ultimate chill-out. For anyone else similarly concerned, don't be. This Maldivian experience is fantastic. I don't know how good Cocoa Island is compared to other top end Maldives resorts, but CI... More
