The location is very good. The best you can find in Kota Kinabalu. Restaurants, supermarkets, the Filipino Market and even the ferry terminal are nearby. The rooms are overcrowded with bunk beds. The air con room has a window which opens to the smoking area. So the air con rooms smells of cigarette smoke. the comment about the bedbugs its not true...this place is very good and the staff was really helpful and friendly.... if you are come into kota kinabalu,this is the best place that you can stay.. they also can help you to arrange your tour.

i went for a 5 days 4 nights trip to Kota Kinabalu in November 2011 with friends (all 6 of us). I made the reservation by phone and the staffs are very kind and polite. The dorm room was clean and comfortable, facing Jesselton Hotel. The location is very good. Love this place, basic but feel like at home.

nice guesthouse with nice staff. They give good information and can arrange nice trips to Kinabatang, the mountain Kinabalu and more. It is in a central area with lots of shoppingmalls and other shops. Also dinner at the Fillipino fishmarket is a must!!! Enjoyed my stay very much!
