A very old hotel which has not renovated ever since its opening. Small rooms, bathroom fixures are dirty, leaking pipes... and a bad smell. swimming pool is closed.. They claim that they are renovating...till that time, please avoid.. Good breakfast

I booked this hotel after being recommended by a Taxi and a tour company. I've no complaints about the hotel except that the bathroom fixtures needed to be replaced. If you're coming on business this hotel is ok but if you're coming to Penang on vacation then I suggest booking one of the hotels with a seaview.

Stayed in the hotel 2 weeks ago. I wouldn't reccomend this hotel. The room water pressure is so poor, the shower head is not working well, with some of the holes stuck with no water coming out of it. Yes the hotel is rather old but room still ok and clean beds r comfy enough. Location is best especially if u love to try the street food. Scam is we gotta pays for wifi and only work in the lobby area! Weird,but they do explain only some floors have wifi. Breakfast is included and was not too bad.

We were given non smoking room upon check in. But once we entered the room, it was very bad smell of smoke. Not sure how this hotel defines non smoking.
