Our room was pleasant with an especially comfortable bed. But I did think that it was noticeably overpriced, especially once we'd paid two taxi fares -- one to get to their inconveneint location, and another to get back into town to the bus station. Really not much place to eat other than Tesco's food court and associated fast food joints.

If you are looking for expensive luxury and paying for services you won't use, stay at Renaissance at five times the price. If you are looking for a basic, simple, clean, friendly hotel (with very comfortable beds), quiet, across from and adjacent to major shopping, you won't do better than to stay here. Includes reasonable breakfast and free WiFi! One... More

nice hotel and the staff did their best to help, but lack of english was a definite downside. Being near Tescos was a definite plus as the mall was a good place for our family to start shopping in malaysia, and there is a food court for those not yet adventurous to check out the night market in town, or... Stayed for 3 nights at this wonderful hotel , just opposite Tesco . Clean , basic and yet very friendly service , puts a lot of 3 and 4 star hotels to shame . Free parking . Free Wi Fi .Nice . Will surely stay here on my next visit .

A bit off the beaten track, but near Tesco's. Frozen yoghourt shop and 7-11 almost next door. About 15 minutes walk along an unpleasant major road (still under construction) to the city. Desperately obliging staff, but... 1. Less than logical layout of room and bathroom 2. Only cold water over handbasin. 3. A pity that there was an entirely redundant... More

we stayed only one night and broke a piece of furniture in the room when i came to the reception to tell them about it they were very concerned if i did not hurt my self and apologized profusely. After some time and after some insistence on my side we agreed that 5 euro would cover the damages, i could... More

I chose this hotel after reading the reviews. I was hoping that it meets my expectations after reading that the hotel is still new. I am very disappointed when i find out the bed sheet in the room i was staying has this slight blood brownish red stain of which i susoect is blood stain. I politely request for the... More

Chose this hotel after reading the reviews. Room condition: still new, reasonably clean. But there were many mosquitoes. I don't where they came from because the door was closed most of the time and I did not open the windows at all. I suspect that they came from the bathroom. I rented the family room with three single beds and... More

was a bit disappointed when we reached particularly breakfast the next morning, as our expectations was quite high due to all the excellent reviews... all in all a good lodge for light travellers but just ok for families.
