Since staying at The Palms a year ago nothing has been done to improve the amenities the whole place is in desperate need of serious investment. Unfortunately wouldn't personally recommend. We meant to stay few nights but left after the first night. We discovered bed bugs that were sucking us during the night. Our stay at the Palms Guest House in Pantai Cenang started in a fan only room and it was hot but manageble. Stayed here with a friend in summer 2010. Great value, close to the beach yet up a side street so not noisy, really helpful owner and clean. Excellent value and wouldn't hesitate staying again.
