What a place!!! my family and I had the best holiday ever. A place to relax and enjoy the views. Clean, friendly it was the best holiday.
This makes a good alternative to stopping in Singapore for a few days, especially if you have a late flight out of Singapore on your last day and don't feel like filling in time from checkout until your flight goes many hours later. We had a 3 day stopover in Singapore, which was long enough to get to Pulau Besar...

We have just returned from a magical weekend. It was two of us plus 1.5 year old baby - and we all had the time of our lives. We were very lucky to be surprisingly the only guests in the hotel that weekend. It was peaceful and beautiful and the staff and management were obliging and eager to please without...

Well I said it in the title really. Location is amazing, beach is really good. Mountain jungle backdrop is stunning. Food is ok - not great. Drinks are cheap if you come from Singapore. Rooms are clean but very tired and dated. There's aircon and hot water, but the rooms and bathrooms need a make over. You can't beat that...

I've spent 2 nights in Aseania Resort. Pulau Besar is a wonderful island, with white sand and blue sea. The rooms are nice, just dark, and the bathrooms need improvement (very basic). Bar and Restaurant Area is very nice and friendly, great food (order from the Menu). The prices are reasonable, but should take the all inclusive package on the...

This resort is a clear favorite for our family having been to several island resorts in the area:
Great service from the local staff; friendly helpful and hospitable management too!
Beautiful clean, wide white sandy beach safe for kids with snorkelling right out the front of the hotel
Shower available at the beachside to get rid of the salt before...

My wife and our two children. Aged 9 and 4 (and 3 quarters!) stayed for 4 nights and five days at the excellent Aseania resort in the fantastically beautiful Pulau Besar from 30 June 2011. We had originally planned to visit Tioman, but changed our mind when we saw the trip advisor reviews for Aseania and the pictures of White...

Simple, honest, fair and VERY nice people. Their attempt of going eco is a logical and appreciated one. A very clean place with hardly any sand flies. Plane loads of mosquitos, but what else do you expect next to a jungle. Just bring sufficient deet and you'll have a great time. Children will have the time of their lives already...

After another day of inactivity, we chatted to the manager about how much we had enjoyed the last few days, especially the food. The chef had taught himself how to cook over sixteen years ago and had also learned from some of the chefs working on the reality TV series 'Expedition Robinson' which is filmed each year on Pulau Besar....
