A night stay in Mersing town is our family's usual practise before heading further up North the next morning for any of our trips. This is our very first stay at Timotel. We booked the Deluxe Quad room and was given promotional rate. Good location - fast food joint KFC is just across the bridge from the hotel, local food... More

We decided to stay here as we thought Havanita was 'weird', cos Havanita's rooms were very dark n furnitures were funny. Here we stayed at the exec suite, it had a separate lounge with a Cable TV, sofa set, fridge, study table and 3 generous plug points! The best part was: Free Wi Fi! And it was fast! And it... More

From the front desk staff to the housekeeping was extremely friendly and professional. The breakfast was simple yet delicious. We like the standard room as it is spacious eventhough we have to pay if we need to replenish the coffee making facility. Thank you for the great experience and warm welcome from the stAff.

Reception ladies ok, but slow. As soon as you enter the hall upstairs everything is old and dirty, the same with the rooms. The bedlinnen and towels where ok, but nothing more than tha We spent one night and will not come back!

After reading previous review, my husband and I are quite reluctant to stay in this hotel. But we decided to give it a try and keeping our finger cross since we will be staying for one night....And we are really surprised the moment we enter the hotel, we are greeted warmly from the receptionist. By paying RM130.00 a night with... More

I stayed here from 24 to 26 August 2011. It was easy to locate the hotel but it does not have covered parking. All the receptionists were unfriendly and not helpful except for one who bothered to give me directions to Chinese restaurants/eateries. I had a difficult time looking for food as August was fasting month for Muslims. You need... More

We stayed at Timotel for 1 night before travelling to Tioman Islands the following day. The room was spacious and clean with free WIFI. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a mixture of continental and Malaysian, simple and enough for us to start the morning. The hotel was about 5 mins walk to the town, and provided complimentary... More

We were supposed to stay two nights at this hotel in August 2010. When we arrive, apparently they had lost our reservation, after insisting and showing our voucher, we have been told that the room was only available for one night. We asked the receptionist to send us his manager (who didn't show up) and were told that the offer... More

The hotel cannot be given a 1 star given the facilities and the staff's attitude. Facilities are manageable but staff is one of the rudest I have ever encountered..I checked in on 8th Jan 2011 and the receptionist( for the management--With specs ) was the rudest I have ever met. She put my family in a room which did not... More

It is unfortunate you have a bad experience staying at Timotel Hotel. The management did an internal investigation and the findings do not agree with your complaint. Here are the summaries: * Customer indeed complained that the air con was not cold. Ms Fatimah (receptionist) did changed his room from 117 to 116 after we checked on the new room.... More
