This is quite a decent little hotel centrally-located in Kochi City, perfectly convenient for access to the castle, Haramaya (sp?) Bashi and the covered shopping arcade. It's hard to complain about a well-located hotel with these prices including breakfast and a free welcome drink each day. You won't be confusing this with the Ritz: aside from the aforementioned perks, it's just your average business hotel with the usual smallish bathroom and decent, but not outstanding amenities. But the perks and the price make it pretty irresistible.

Service at the Welcome hotel in Kochi was really great. I almost can't believe that we got a double room including breakfast here for as little as 5000 yen. Being that the room only cost 5000 yen a night we were a little skeptical about what type of room we would be getting. To our surprise it was great. It was enough for two of us to stay comfortably. Price included a welcome drink and breakfast the following morning. For the budget traveler its a great deal.
