The Centraza is conveniently-located next to Hakata Station in Fukuoka. Despite its busy locale, the hotel is clean, quiet, and comfortable. The single room is a little alarmingly small, but functional and not unpleasant. Restaurants available on the property are excellent.
We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. We had booked a triple room. There was just enough space to put our luggage. Not much space to walk around. However, given the price (JPY 3700 per person) and the location, can't complain. However, one problem we had was that the bed for the 3rd person was converted from the couch...

The hotel is conveniently located for Hakata train station but despite that proximity is very peaceful.
The first floor lobby is pleasant enough with the usual polite staff.
However, having booked a "deluxe" twin room we were astonished to find that "deluxe" amounted to a room that clearly hadn't been decorated since the 70's - in fact the retro look...
