Located 10 minutes walk from Hakata Station the B Hotel is a handy place to stay. The room is remarkably small! So you will need to be travelling light. The amenities and bathroom are adequate. I've stayed here three times and every time it's fantastic! The atmosphere is great, nice design and decorating, and it feels like it should be much more expensive than it actually is. Of course the rooms are small but it's Japan, so it's like that everywhere you go. Location is fantastic and very near to Hakata Station which is excellent.... More

This is a really great hotel to stay in. Though small, it offered me the comfort of being home away from home. The room was very clean and furniture efficiently placed. It's also very near the Hakata station and several good eats as well. I would definitely go back for a stay!

Good price, clean, good location - not too painful to lug bag to hakata station. Size is small (double bed) as expected. For its price, it's a go. I reserved directly from its website. Did not try breakfast, it costs very reasonable at 700 though.

“Just another Average Hotel, but Cheap”

Stayed for the last night of my trip in October 2011. Excellent location, cheap price (Costed me about 50$ per night). In the center of the city with a metro station relatively close. Nothing special, just another no frills business hotel, if you are looking for a place just to sleep.

We stayed at the b hakata in late Dec and though rooms are small, they are clean and equipped with the usual amenities (toothbrush, shaver, comb) and for ladies who need shower cap, these are available at the reception desk.. It is about 6mins walk from Hakata station to the hotel. Although the rooms were small, but it was clean and comfortable. I think there's free wifi in the lobby area since I saw some people sitting at the lobby accessing internet on their mobile phones. Not 100% sure about this though.
