My notes indicate that there’s a Toyoko Inn Hakata-guchi Ekimae 2 (while checking out Toyoko Inn’s website) and that the Ekimae 2 does not seem to have economy rooms. That’s fine as it made it easier to pick my choice – Toyoko Inn Hakata-guchi Ekimae as it offers economy type rooms.

There are several (think it is three) Toyoko Inn in Fukuoka.
The one we stayed is three minutes walk from Hakata
train/subway station. Extremely convenient for travelling to
everywhere within or out of fukuoka. There are many shops
