Stayed 2 nights in this hotel. This hotel was quite convenient as it's quite near JR Nara station. The 1st impression of this hotel was the smile of the staffs. Every time you go through the main door, they would greet you with gracious smile. The feeling of comforts started right after you stepped in the hotel.
Though the room...

I needed a hotel for one night on a visit to Nara. This place fit the bill - close to the station, central, as well as comfortable and clean. However, those looking for a "typically Japanese" should stay away- this is just a standard issue hotel which you find anywhere in the world.
Location is convenience, near by Nara station. Staffs are kind. Free bicycles are available, but need to offer to use. Breakfast is OK.
This hotel is conveniently located from the Nara train station. With the trains station at your back, cross the main street, go right and you'll walk right into it.
The hotel was clean, modernly furnished, and is accessible to the various Nara attractions and shopping areas. The service staff were very nice. The breakfast offered by the hotel was very...

I was looking for a no-frills base from which to explore Nara and Horyu-ji, and this hotel did exactly what I asked of it. The rooms are small but cozy, with a modular bathroom that was clean, simple and functional. The pillow was a little uncomfortable, so I used my own. The TV programs are all in Japanese, and there...

In november 2010 we stayed 2 nights in Comfort Hotel Nara and were very happy with our stay. The hotel is in a 5 minutes walk from the trainstation and a nice 15 minutes walk from the Nara-park with its famous temples. The hotel is very clean and the room is comfy with all you need. Reception is friendly and...

If you are traveling by train with backpacks or a small amount of luggage, you can easily walk to this hotel from the train station. It is fairly new, no-frills, but clean, comfortable, has a nice "Best Western" style breakfast. The rooms are small, whcih is not unusual for Japan. Great value.
With a good location, this is a clean comfortable hotel with reasonable size rooms and bathrooms. It's a standard business hotel so not overly romantic but a good place for an overnight trip to see the Nara temples and deer. Breakfast and good free wifi included making this a good value hotel.
We stayed 2 nights, the first after arriving at Kansai Airport 6.30pm. We caught the Limousine bus from the airport (nearly 2 hours, should have caught train).
The hotel is newish, we faxed them direct to get a double room. The doubles are smaller than the twin rooms but 2000 odd yen cheaper. As we were two couples traveling I...
