The location is awesome, just a short walk from the JR station. Very convenient! We had room 505 which when we booked online was listed as a twin (no doubles were available). It is on the 5th floor and there is a lift. The view from our room was also great! The room was quite spacious and there was a... More

Indeed, this is a very cheap place to stay for a 2 day one night trip to Nikko. Its just opposite the Nikko Station and main bus station, so basically the location can consider the best. Convenience store just along the road. Restaurants available nearby. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I had a good time chatting with them.... More

This was an odd hostel. We showed up with a group of six. We had previous reservations but it was a surprise who, or why, we were there. We were told our rooms weren't ready and still needed to be cleaned. We left our luggage in the main entryway and went out sightseeing and had something to eat. When we... More

Located right opposite of the Tobu Nikko a station, Nikko station bus station, souvenir stores, and next to the post office, 2 minutes walk to a supermarket...what else can on ask for? However, quality of the hotel is just average. We had a room with 2 rooms (maybe it's meant for 4 people). Though it's non- smoking, but it smelled... More

The take away: it's clean and comfy enough for a night's sleep but has zero charm.Been opened for over a year but seems half closed. It's fine for a night or two while you take in the amazing World Heritage attractions and even an onsen in the Nikko area. The main attraction is it's convenience to the sights and the... More

When we arrived at the café reception of the restaurant mid-afternoon, it was closed and the lights were off (it seemed to be closed the entire time we were there). We tapped on the window, and were greeted by a sour faced woman. There was some confusion about whether we were staying at their hotel near the Station or the... More

Got a double room at mid-December and everything was find til I returned to my room during evening and even though the air-conditioning was turned on for several hours, the room was freezing cold. The heating is terrible! Had to sleep with my coat on. At least there was an electric sheet which made sleep tolerable. Close to the train... More

We stayed one night Nov 2010. We had booked the room via the sister accommodation Nikko Park Lodge website, reserving the room with credit card details. All easily done.
