Stayed at the New Otani Makahuri for an event. Good standard overall, comfortable rooms, (although no wireless Internet in bedrooms - tsk, tsk!), good service. If you are coming to Japan for a vacation, avoid this hotel though! It is very beige and slightly frumpy. The surrounding area is rather sterile and depressing.
