The airport bus will bring you to the Hakodate JR station, from which the hotel is just about 70m away. If you arrive by JR train, the hotel is on the left side of the station's exit (basically, there are 2 hotels on either side of the station. The Loisir is on the right side).

Few Americans visit Hakodate but if you are going to Hokkaido, definitely stay here for one night and see the night view from Mount Hakodate, try some food in the morning market, and visit Motomachi. The people here are especially warm and unguarded; it's a bit of backwater here and I found the people more authentic.
