The location was about a 5 minute walk from the train station (which had trains from Tokyo) which was convenient. You could easily walk to the town centre which was on the other side of the train station.

Kofu hotel had great breakfast and staff spoke very good English, but this was the worst hotel we have been in Japan.
Very odd thing was that heating was on 27degs and despite active attemps was not able to turn colder. Room was really hot and opening window made it just more unpleasant. Staff could not help.
