The rooms are fairly small, but on the decent size for Japan. The beds are as usual hard as a rock. But the hotel staff is lovely, and the concierge is really helpful in regards to the city. The buffet breakfast had a lot of options and quality.

Really good place, rooms high up with a view to mountains......to save cash, eat in, using the basement food hall of the Dept. store opposite for excellent cheap food.
We stayed here last week for 4 days and it was a wonderful experience. The room was big by Japan standards, the location was perfect (only 6 minutes and 900-odd yen by taxi, you can walk if you don't have luggage, which takes about 20 minutes). It's close to lots of lovely little eateries nearby, (we stumbled onto a little...

Good rooms, with good service. Very nice entrance and reception. Parking in the basement is very convenient.
Down the road you will find lots of nice restaurants and round the corner there is a Starbucks cafe. The only disadvantage was the price of the breakfast which was rather high so we went to Starbucks.
Excellent choice when you are in...

Stayed here for a couple of nights while attending a conference. The rooms are not very spacious but very clean and well equipped. Ample breakfast buffet, very helpfull staff. The hotel is very well located, some attractions at walking distance, others with a single bus drive...
The Kanazawa Excel Tokyu Hotel is a slightly old-fashioned Japanese business hotel with more than its share of charm. I stayed here for 3 nights in July, 2011 in an Executive Single room on the 15th floor. The room was simple but clean, well appointed and had a nice view. Free broadband internet was provided; air conditioning worked perfectly. The...

Great location in the center of town (tricky to find the parking garage the 1st time though). Room was small, out-dated and poorly equipped. Would not return.
Thank you for your staying at Kanazawa Execel Hotel Tokyu.
Rooms are planning to be renovated in the future.
Thanks,

Stayed two nights of a week-end at this hotel, after hesitating between Nikko Kanazawa (in front of Kanazawa train station) and this hotel. Location-wise I do not regret my choice. This hotel is in Korinbo, the very centre of Kanazawa, convenient for shopping, eating out and also for sightseeing. Kenrokuen Garden, 21st Century Museum,Ohmi Market are at walking distance. Small...

A disappointment frankly. Whilst well-located, the lobby and rooms were very tired indeed. The rooms are the normal small size for a Japanese hotel, but there really is no excuse for not refurbishing. Old TV, old wood furniture etc. Never used any of the "dining" facilities as they closed early and there was certainly nothing available after our late arrival...

Although not much to look at from the outside this hotel is superbly located for enjoying all that Tokyo has to offer. The rooms are large and spacious - even for those travelling alone which is a rare luxury in Japan.
Breakfasts are excellent - a huge range to of foods to choose from - a variety of restaurants to...
