Hana hotel stands next to a graveyard, in a dark street close to the center of Takayama. We did not like our room which we considered quite dirty. Definitely cheap for such a clean room. And we got free breakfast as well. The hotel is located several minutes walk from JR Takayama Station. Note that there is a cemetery right beside the hotel. So it might be better to ask for a room that doesn't face the cemetery.
