We loved everything on our trip to Africa last year, but the Stanley Lodge was defintely one of the highlights. The rooms were comfortable and creatively decorated. We stayed in the Family Suite which had it's own pool (too cold to go in when we were there), and was completely open on the side facing the river. We could see... More

We just returned from a wonderful stay at the Stanley Safarai Lodge. Even though they were only 2 of us, we were given the beautiful Family suite which was huge and had a fabulous view of the mist from the falls. It was wonderful to wake up in the morning and see the mist and hear lions roaring in the... More

We just stayed at Stanley Safari Lodge and had the honeymoon suite for the three nights (we have only been married for 35 years!!!): it was huge, with its own swimming pool, in the open air -- other than three walls and a view, in the distance, of the mist from Victoria Falls; even the double shower and the toilet... Being in the tourism industry, I have visited many lodges in Livingstone. Stanley Safari Lodge is one of those "rare finds" - not only breathtakingly beautiful, with incredible views and stunning decor, but the 'sense of FAMILY' amongst the staff is what made the biggest impression on me. I visited the lodge with my 3 daughters, aged 10, 8 and... More

My son (aged 10) and I wanted to visit the Falls after doing safari at Sabi Sands and I thought the Stanley looked the bit fit for us. I wasn't disappointed. Better to be away from all the 'tourists' and with only a 10 minute drive to the Falls themselves, we had the best of both worlds. I did wonder... More

I visited Stanley lodge with my girlfriend and parents over the easter weekend. We were on self drive from Namibia and Stanley lodge is not the easiets place to find but luckely everyone in Livingstone can tell you where it is. Once arrived my parents were accommodated in the colonial style cottage with an impressive bathtub and private pool. My... More

The location of the lodge is perfect. Located close enough to the falls and all the activities that it is very easy to get everywhere, but you are far enough away from the falls that you don't have constant helicopter, boat or road traffic. The service, starting with Pascal, the manager, and each of the wait staff was 5 star.... More

Wonderful from the individual lodges with enormous beds, overlooking the spray of the Falls and open at the front. The staff were lovely and the food excellent, especially nice eating in different places each time.

This was our first stop on a tour of the Falls, Chobe and Okavango, and it was a superb way to start the holiday. We and the teenage kids all loved the rooms with the open walls and bath, the lodge with its infinity pool, and the amazingly friendly and helpful staff and manager. The food was superb, and we...
