Excellent location right on the river, hotel offers a sunset river cruise which is am excellent hippo spotting opportunity! Food was good at the hotel and drinks very cheap! We stayed in a standard twin chalet, and it was very spacious and clean, shower could do with being a bit more powerful but water was hot. No free wifi but... More

Made the mistake of leaving some items in rucksacks and had items stolen during the afternoon/evening from locked rooms. Old and not particularly valuable so not worth reporting to the police; the management were sympathetic but it really spolit the end of our holiday. Good location but tired rooms.

I stayed there while traveling with Toronto-based G-Adventures Africa overland safari tour. It is a lively well appointed and flexible facility located right on the Zambesi River shore a few kilometers upstream from Victoria Falls. They cater to both individual travellers as well as group tours. There are camp ground accomodations with toilet blocks and showers as well as fully... More

We arrived about 9pm, but the check-in was effortless - we had prepaid and everything was in order when we arrived. Front desk staff very helpful. Stayed in Room #23 - just steps away from the Zambezi with a nearly unobstructed view of the river. The view was amazing - definitely worth the extra to stay in a water front... More

When we got to the campsite, there were quite a lot of overlander trucks and we thought it would be really noisy at night - however these travellers obviously had early starts and by 9pm the place was completely quiet. We were pitching our own tents, and the campsite area was shaded with a good parking area and cooking facilities.... More

The price, the activity office upstairs, and the riverfront location are the things going for this place. Stayed in a chalet. Poor housekeeping service (no towels, asking multiple times, etc). Lots of bugs in the room (no surprise since they didn't spray and the door to the outside had a hole clear through it and the patio doors didn't fit... More

The Waterfront could be so much more! Yes location is great, right by the Zambezi. It means mosquitos at night. Make sure that you drown yourself in insect repellent and use the mozzie nets in the room. We were in room #17, the last of the chalets facing the water so away from all the noise and action of the... More

Stayed in ground floor chalet room as part of a GAP Adventures package and boy were we happy we upgraded. This is a great hotel right on the Zambezi River. For a bit more you can get a room right on the Zambezi. The restaurant patio and pool literally hang over the edge of river. You can have dinner while... More

This was a nice place right on the water. We were in a pre-set tent and found our zipper was broken and couldn't be locked. The staff were slow but very helpful in getting it fixed. Nice restaurant and bar - the thing with places like this is they can hold you 'hostage' with their prices as they are the... More

We arrived here after an overland trip from Cape Town. The first suggestion is that we sleep in tents but the whole group revolted against that. The tents are in bad shape, zippers don't close and the toilets and showers are outright dirty. We upgraded to a room, which was better but... the water coming from the tap was brown... More
