Made the mistake of leaving some items in rucksacks and had items stolen during the afternoon/evening from locked rooms. Old and not particularly valuable so not worth reporting to the police; the management were sympathetic but it really spolit the end of our holiday. Good location but tired rooms.

When we got to the campsite, there were quite a lot of overlander trucks and we thought it would be really noisy at night - however these travellers obviously had early starts and by 9pm the place was completely quiet. The price, the activity office upstairs, and the riverfront location are the things going for this place. Stayed in a chalet. Poor housekeeping service (no towels, asking multiple times, etc). The Waterfront could be so much more! Yes location is great, right by the Zambezi. It means mosquitos at night.
