“That's just what i was thinking!”

I stayed 1 night in Pool villa room. I'll never forget that day. We lazyed by the private pool all day and The beach so close (around 15m) but suddenly blackout in the night time !! i really scared! All the pictures advertised on their web has nothing to do with the reality - the villas equipment is very poor (no tv, no cosmetics in the bathroom which is very strange for the 4*star hotel, no hair dryer), the shower looks like 2*star hotel and has no hot water and very weak stream of water - so isn't almost... “they cancelled us - no reason”

we organised holiday of a lifetime around 5 days at green papaya - 6 days before leaving UK we were told that our booking had been cancelled, no reason given. it was over new year, so finding an alternative was a nightmare. good luck if you book this place.

we spent 5 night in Papaya and it was pleasant experience. the place has just finished renovation and they are about to launch a movie theatre. food is amazing, rooms are right next to the beach spacious and well serviced. we took bicycles in the hotel to look around the village - and it was a true experience in Vietnam.... I would say that if you want to stay in the middle of Vietnam, but still cannot tear yourself away from everyday problems or regular internet activities, WI-FI is free there and the coverage is perfect. So, even lying in the hammock I could check emails and chat, so next time it makes sense to take a longer vacation still... More
