It looks really nice on photos, and in reality it looks nice too, just a lot smaller. That's just smart business I guess. The suite room we had was just a regular size hotel room, with just enough space for two beds - we could sleep well with our two children sharing one of the beds. The decoration is nice.... More

Been to this hotel many times and just spent another night there once again... This place is pretty near and within walking distance from a shopping mall nearby... This place never disappoints however the decor is slightly overdone... Overall a nice and clean place with over the top decor :o) Just felt that a review from me is long overdue... More

Room was suite and ok but no seperate area just one bigroom. There were foil wrappers behind the door and under the table indicating the cleaning from the last guest! The bathroom floor was totally flooded after a shower which was dangerous on slippery tiles. I had a front room fronting a noisy street and the hotel flashing neon light.... More

After staying in dumps in Hoi An, the Louis Hotel was absolute luxury in comparison. True, there's not a lot to do in Danang, but we needed a bit of rest after travelling for a couple months. The included breakfast was interesting, if nothing else. Staff was friendly, would offer us tea whenever we were in lobby waiting for something... More

We spent two nights at this hotel. It was very smelly and we could not breathe due to strong room caused by room clearance chemicals; my husband had to make some coffee cups in the room to deordorize this terrible smell. The room seems to be luxurious but in fact all decoration pieces are fake: wooden bed, cloth wardrobe and... More

Stayed here for one night in May 2011. On arrival from the airport there was a severe thunderstorm, which caused the power to be cut for 5 hours. Manager was very accomdating, who drove me to a restaurant where power had not been cut in the mean time. Reception was very grand, albeit faux grand. When I finally got access... More

We went on a 3 week trip from Bangkok Thailand to HCMC to Hanoi. This was the one let down of the our hotels. The rooms were very spacious and staff very nice and friendly but the bed was terrible. The room needed to be aired out! So muggy and sheets/bed spread damp feeling. The decor is a little off.... More

The Louis isn't in Danang's nicest location, and the staff can have considerable difficulties with English. That said, this hotel was one of the highlights of our time in Vietnam. It's budget accommodation--we paid $25 for a night--but the rooms have nice beds, comfortable sheets, and a style that has to be seen to be believed. Someone deeply in love... More

This hotel was amazing value for money. Our room was furnished in old style but had all modern conveniences such as new lcd tv, new airconditioning, lovely bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, free wifi in room, breakfast included in our $20 price. The only thing I would suggest is breakfast caters to asian taste but there was lovely fresh... More
