The only review I have read of Cam Chau HOMESTAY that truly reflects my experience is the one that should be below mine by the reviewer from Berlin. I had absolutely no idea where to stay in Hoi An given that a few guides say there is nowhere to stay in the Old City. Really do your research. Having stayed... More

Okay, the idea of the homestay is really good. You stay at locals houses who have different rooms to rent. You can participate in their life, play with the kids and have dinner with them. You always have to pay, for sure. We stayed at the Dung family who really did all their best to make our stay as comfortable... More

Although the members of the family are nice and sweet, the room (no a/c for 18 dollars) was definetly not good value. The house does not offer a place to hang out, read a book or relax. It is not a comfortable atmosphere. It is quiet far from town and we had to pay for the 2 bicycles which we... More

We booked the Homestay instead of a hotel as we wanted a totally different experience for our holiday. Email correspondence with Vinh prior to departure was prompt and efficient and he organised car transfers from/to Danang Airport for us which helped make things so much easier. We stayed with Cuc and Dung's family for 8 nights where we had a... More

We only stayed here for 3 nights and were warmly welcomed by our host family. Van and Huyen (and Thinh their son) our room was clean and had its own bathroom. breakfast included was great and we were also offered evening meals with the family too(WE had to offer to pay a contribution to the meals) They had bikes we... On my first night I had a nightmare getting here from Da nang airport with a horrible taxi driver. But when I turned up in tears at 12am I was immediately welcomed by the Dung family. They have been so warm and welcoming. I have enjoyed having dinner with them and playing with their children. It is great for a... More

We only stayed for 2 days at the homestay of the family Dung. We would have loved to stay longer, but we booked our flight already. We were invited for diner with the family and also we could use the bikes for free. Its a really good way to have a look in family life in Vietnam. I would recommend... More

This homestay village which is located around 2km away from Hoi An Town (Phan Chau Trinh) has successfully hosted travelers/volunteers from Canada, India, England, Malaysia and Singapore etc. My fiancé and I have taken a chance to stay at this place. Our reviews are as follows: - With a modest fee of USD9-10+ , the homestay accommodation includes a private... More

It is my first time to Hoi An and after searching long and hard on the internet for a place to stay, I decided to book a room with Cam Chau homestay and stayed with Dung's family. The house is quietly hidden from the nearby shops, in a small and quiet village, 5 minutes by bike to the city center.... More
