Spent 2 nights there. It is a building of 1958 of Soviet architecture and style with some modernisation. I had to change my first room because the shower did not work at all. I was transfered to a second room where the tap as a whole was demolished and left in my hands while bathing! Sheets not clean, carpet dirty... More

the only good thing about this hotel is that it has a swimming pool, and also the location. Our room was not done, the service, breakfast, etc.... are very poor.

Just back from 3 days in Samarkand part of Company Convention. This hotel is frozen in time and if you are nostalgic of old Soviet hotels of the 70"s this is the place. This hotel must date back to the Seventies and nothing much seems to have changed since then, as far as rooms and bathrooms are concerned, at least. Bathrooms, especially, look quite obsolete.
