We stayed at this hotel chain and assumed that this new one will be fine but it was as if they had a grand opening and allowed every one in for free for a month. Its position is bad. rooms are smelly. very very basic breakfast. staff.... it stops there.

I`ve stayed 2 nights in Sharjah in Citymax, it`s a budget hotel, close to nothing, taxi is the only way. Nice rooms though, comfortable beds, bath ok, a little small. But awful, awful breakfast. Free internet, even if wired, is a plus. For a budget hotel.

Citymax is not a very good hotel for leisure. During the time I stayed the hotel was full of people. Reception was slow. Rooms are ok but bathrooms were not I used to see in the hotels in UAE. Citymax can be a good hotel for business but not good for a vacation.

Easy to locate, good services, friendly staff. Rooms were comfortable though the bed size was little small. In terms of cleanliness..house keeping staff needs to be more active & particular. There were hair strands of previous occupants on the floor & floor mats. Overall the experience was good & would re-consider if need be.
