I stopped over for a morning coffee at the hotel while visiting Entebbe. The ambience is good and I liked the overall decor of the place. The breakfast was average and the service is okay. What I did like was the restaurant and the view. Would definitely explore staying over the place next time I am in Entebbe.

Room was nice, gardens are nice (but worn down), that was about it. Restaurant is shabby, overpriced, food is mediocre (to say the least), staff is not attentive, but arrogant Reception personell is unfriendly When they ordered us a cab to the airport, the cab driver - apparently in cooperation with the reception staff - charged a ridiculous fee (which... I stayed here overnight awaiting an early morning connecting flight. The room was large and shabby, the bed hard and rather mean pillows. I did not eat, the restaurant was deserted and smelled stale. The gardens are lovely and there is access to the lake. At $150, it is rather expensive for the quality, but only a few minutes to... More

Uganda became a critical logistical hub for the UN and the other military organizations and NGOs involved in the 15 year ongoing humanitarian crisis of central Africa beginning with the holocaust in Rwanda and continuing with the massive human displacement in the DRC, CAR and South Sudan. Entebbe, the airport town located about 40 miles south of Kampala on the... More

Dark and gloomy tasteless interiors, in need of major overhaul, mediocre food and clearly unhappy staff treated like s..... by the management. Only positive features are the outside gardens!.

I agree with many of the other reviewers here that this hotel is tired, out-dated and over priced. I stayed here as part of a group and there was a vast difference in the rooms- some of them were quite bright and well furnished and others were very worn looking with many broken or non functioning items (ranging from showers... the hotel needs a complete re-do. old and musty from when you enter. the place almost looks scary from the heavy wood. The bathroom has tub only, no shower. There were no soaps or shampoo in the bathroom. The reason i stayed there was because of cancelled flight, so the airline put us up there - , otherwise i would... More

Stayed one night here with my family (husband and three young children) the night before an early morning flight. We paid over $200 for the "family suite" which was two connecting rooms, one with three twin beds and the other with a double bed. Water pressure in both was bad but water was hot. In the triple room the TV... More

I spent 2 nights in this hotel and after reading much of the poor reviews, I was expecting the worst. I was however pleasantly surprised. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel was a bit pricey. However, check in was reasonable and the staff friendly. The rooms appear to have been renovated recently and were clean and neat. The... More
