I found this hotel by chance after being away from civilisation for 10 days without a shower working. I was made welcome and shown to a room that was more than adequate. The food was excellent, staff smashing, security good. Two very refreshing days before flying back to UK.

I found this gem out of frustration at a cheap hotel and it actually defies the notion that good things ain't cheap. For $120 per night this splendid little lodge had EVERYTHING. My wife and I traveled to Africa to visit daughter & son-in-law and go on safari. Our first stop was the Gately Inn upon arrival in Entebbe. This small hotel with wonderful landscaping and well decorated and appointed rooms was the perfect introduction to Uganda. The staff were very good, friendly and responsive. Food very good, too.
