In a group, the standard of rooms was variable [in the old wing]. The rooms have big windows looking over the pretty harbour, Negatives include about 1.5 km to down town, though there are regular shuttles. The breakfasts also were only average.

Room is like a crypt, No fresh air if your room faces the internal walkway. Noisy, but staff, at least, seem to have a good time. For breakfast you get a loud television in the dining room which makes any conversation difficult The area is beautiful, shame the hotel does not manage the scenery.

I can only speak to our experience. Our room had a great water view and while not huge, it was more than adequate and well prepared. The restaurant upstairs had a great water view and we enjoyed our meal there. Overall, we were quite pleased.

Disappointed with this hotel: rooms are tiny, and we had one with a "balcony" which was internal, overlooking the foyer. Not much privacy. A pleasant enough hotel over looking the harbor, but at the end of the harbor and not walking distance to the restaurants and town. A little dark, could use better lighting in the hallways...rooms were nice.
