Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

In all the years we have been going to İçmeler, we have never stayed in the most awful hotel, when we arrived the first room was not even cleaned so they put us in another room, it looked cleaned but when we saw it the daytime it was dusty & I don’t think the cleaner knew what a hoover looked like, the bathroom was very small, the shower cubicle was filthy with black mould, the air conditioner made such a loud noise we have to pull the electric card out when we went to bed, the balcony had a washing hanging but it was broken, the tv has black tap rapped round it, the sheets on the bed where not white & the towels we disgusting, I know you pay for what you get but I would expect them to have white bedding, towels & for the room and bathroom to be cleaned properly, the breakfast was very basic but ok. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. It’s needs a massive overhaul I will never stay here again

Friendly and very courteous staff, small family ran hotel. Food is alright e.g. Special for 29.99 TL you get mezzes, garlic bread slices (3/4), garlic mushrooms (tasty!); main - anything from either the pasta, chicken or pizza menu choices with a tea or coffee to wash it down. Mixed with a couple of beer's, 'it went down well. A very popular choice and a huge relief if you didn't want to wander around all the places. They have a small pool atb with a kiddy pool and some sun loungers and bean bags. Music is more often played which was alright if you're into reggae or dance. Overall: worthwhile and welcoming.

Terrible hotel. Small dingy rooms, the pool is an absolute disgrace. Stayed one night and checked out following morning and paid for a new hotel. Staff were extremely rude when explained we was leaving and the Turkish lady who works there would shout things in Turkish every time we walked past the hotel on the rest of our holiday. Please do not book here, you will be very disappointed

The hotel itself was clean the food was good and the staff were great but things you need to know. The rooms are small be aware If you want to keep your valuables safe the safe costs 15 pounds a week extra, and if you want air conditioning in your room anouther 35 pounds a week extra., breakfast consisted of poached, boiled or scrambled eggs or a turkish breakfast, boiled egg, cucumber, tomato, cheese, honey, jam and bread, if you want full English or others guess what you pay, unfortunately it's a bit of a fire hazard too, see photos the wiring is terrible as you can see exposed wires just wraped and fire detectors with covers on no use at all in an emergency. At least 2 other rooms lost electric on various occasions. The whole area is clean the beach 2 mins walk. Shuttle bus to marmaris 3 lira 75p running every couple of mins.

Me and my boyfriend arrived at the Babadan hotel at the start of July 2013. Arriving at the hotel we we're strongly disappointed. It was late at night and we found it very creepy! A creepy young man took us to our room, the lights are on a timer so you have to go up the stairs quickly otherwise your left in pitch black. We were not impressed with our room as it was really small and old fashioned, the sheets and bathroom were very grubby. You have to pay £5 a night for the air con which occasionally worked but made loud noises in the middle of the night. The pool was small but pleasantly surprising, we spent a lot of time around the pool. We found certain staff very rude and unfriendly. The hotel is located in a lovely quite area of Icmeler which is only a 10minute walk to the beach. To sum up the hotel it is alright for a short cheap holiday, however i will not be returning to the Babadan.
