We stay in Izmir Palas for 3 night and was a blast, the staff is very thoughtful, the view from the Kordón beach is amazing and there´s a lot of restaurants and bars near to the hotel.

We made a reservation and stayed for one night so we would be closer to the airport for our flight the next morning. Quite often I stay in the big city hotel. Great location; just by the sea and in the very city center. It looks a bit 1950s, which I like a lot.

The hotel is some years old but they were about to renovate on some places. But I stayed there before and it was still the same since then. Probably it is turkish timeframe.... Stayed here on buisness in June for 3 nights, the hotel overlooks the sea front and has great views, worth upgrading to a sea view room. There are lots of restaurants on the street under the hotel, excellent location ! Will stay here again if I return to Izmir

My wife and I stayed at the Izmir Palas two times in mid-June 2007. The weather was unusually hot, but the air conditioning worked well. The staff think this is a top hotel and make sure you know it! But they are helpful and will unbend with a little conversation. Make sure you get a room overlooking the sea, it a superb view, and any spare time can be frittered away on your balcony watching the little ferries and the sparkling sea. The other side... More

Really enjoyed our stay at Izmir Palas. Great location, with lots of good restaurants nearby. Overlooks the harbor and the promenade.
