This lovingly renovated hotel is tucked away on the hilllside of Bergama. It is well signposted, your welcome will be warm, the rooms are spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed (all are decorated differently) with modern, well equipped bathrooms and comfortable beds (can't speak for all, but ours certainly was)! The typically Turkish breakfast on the terrace is a "smorgasbord of... More

We accidently went to the wrong hotel in bergama and are so pleased we did. The staff were wonderful, the hotel is a beautifly restored couple of houses. The host made us feel very much at home and spent lots of time giving us good advice on where to eat and the acropolis. The rooms were exquisite all with their... More

This little hotel is located in the old part of Bergama. It is easy to find as it is well signposted. When you open the courtyard gate it is "wow". The design and decor is fabulous. The rooms are great and the hospitality is outstanding. If you ask nicely, you will be taken to the wine cellar!! It is also... More

Stayed there for one night with my family. The couple that hosts the place was really really nice, they gave us good advise for the acropolis and a restaurant for dinner and they spoke good english. Breakfast on the terrace in the sun was nice. Not a huge selection, but selfmade Bal-Kaymak, which was really good. Rooms were nice, clean... More

Hera Hotel was the perfect place to celebrate a 'significant' birthday whilst travelling in Turkey. The hotel is such a relaxing place in a wonderful setting in close proximity to the town and historical places of interest. Our host Iskender was kindness itself and he made us feel very much at home. We would love to return one day.

Firstly, it's well sign posted in the town so we just kept following the signs to the top of the hill.We stayed here after following the signs at the base of the hill. We had checked out a hotel that was recommended in the Lonely Planet but it wasn't up the scratch so we followed the signs and ended up... More

First, the owners are very nice. Unfortunately, that's the last good thing to say about this small and COLD hotel. We stayed for one night, and that was too long. Our room was 52 degrees when we arrived. They decided to graciously turn on the heater in the room We were offered wine and snacks and spoke with them of... More

We are sorry that our services fell short of your expectations. This is certainly a first for us since our opening. It should be noted that you were a walk-in customer and observed the room before deciding to stay with us. All efforts have been made to keep you warmer (the heater was set at highest temperature) and the room... More

I wish we had more nights to stay at the Hera Hotel - the couple who owned and ran the place were friendly and great, the rooms were nice, and the information they offered about the sites was incredibly helpful. The only draw backs we had were that the place was hard to find at night. Driving through the streets... More

The dinners were made by a local lady and they were very good Turkish home-made meals with fresh, local ingredients. Also a very calm hotel, their balcony/gazebo is a great place to relax at night.
