I don't know how to explain all the negative reviews here, but our room was very nice, obviously recently remodeled (5th floor), with a balcony facing on the ocean. The room and bathroom were Marriot quality (though smaller) and perfectly clean. Perhaps we were given a remodeled room since we were part of a tour group the hotel favored (?)... More

Our tour agency booked us in this hotel, which was supposed to be a four-star. As others have noted, it is not. In a small tourist town away from big city we expect to make concessions, but within minutes of arrival we concluded the Ozcelik was simply unacceptable. Many lights in lobby and guest floor hallways were out. The white... More

A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights in May 2011 and got a very good deal on the place. It was not quite the busy season so there was maybe 25% capacity, but the service was fine. Breakfast was typical for Turkey, a bit short of variety but got you through the morning. If good coffee is important... More

Not sure who's responsible for rating hotels around here, but clearly not reliable! One comment to trip advisor before I start - when I booked this hotel, for some reason only positive reviews came up (I booked some time early this month) and I find now that a lot of negative reviews have been added since august of last year.... We didn´t choose this hotel, it was included in a tour package and to be honest the service was bad. Nobody helped us with our suitcases and the hotel was old and the rooms were very cold. I would´t recomend this place to anyone.

My husband and I vacation in Turkey October 24th through November 7th 2011. This hotel was part of our tour package and we were there for 3 nights.First impressions often reveal some truths. Well, upon entering the hallway to go to our room, we were greeted by the smell of sewage. The hotel is dated - circa 1990's, very dated... More

We stayed there 2 nights only because it was part of a tour. Upon arrival, the man at the front desk stated we weren't booked there, even though there was a sheet on the desk for us letting us know what time our tour starts the following morning. As soon as we walked into the room, we smelled the mildew.... More

We spent two nights here, part of a tour. Front desk is not friendly at all, rooms were not bad but not clean, balconies are stacked so that next door neighbors look into your room. We found out that we had dinner inbcluded but noone told us when we checked in. Besides, the food for breakfast was terrible. In a... More

I stayed there one night, and only because it was part of a tour. My room smelled of smoke and I found hair in the sheets. Upon calling the front desk to ask for a non-smoking room, the person at the front desk came and sprayed the room with air freshener. Also, there were hair clips and an old luggage... More
