We were recommended this hotel by the Thomas Cook rep, told it was a very relaxing quiet location, with sunshine, good food and good accommodation. And this is what we got. Rooms are large, with queen size bed, tv, clean bathroom and nice balcony. We went all inclusive, and had great food everyday. The only downside was the food was... More

2 weeks in September 2011. After reading some of the reviews we weren't sure what to expect. As a couple with grown up children (left at home) we found the staff friendly - some in the dining room were run ragged but mainly had a friendly smile (even if they didn't understand English). We went half board and always able... More

We were a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews, however, the staff were lovely, the pool areas - there were 3 to choose from - were beautiful. You couldnt imagine a more delightful beach, although when the weather is rough out at sea quite a lot of seaweed gets washed up but this is removed daily. There is... More

My husband and I stayed here recently on an All Inclusive basis. We booked a last minute package deal with Thomas Cook. The Thomas Cook Rep Rachid was very good and helpful. The hotel is fine although in my opinion it is not a 4 star as stated in the brochure. I would say it was a 3 star property.... More

Arrived 10pm after two hour delay, there was no food available but were told we could order a snack in the cafe bar, we never got the food, although others that were not AI and had to pay received theirs, so went to bed hungery. Had an accident the first morning slipped on the steps from the main pool area... More

The Miramar Djerba Palace lies in the Zone Touristique, a phrase I had grown to dread after staying at hotels in several up and down the Tunisian coast. However, the Djerba Palace is somewhat above its class (cookie cutter resort hotels along the coast that cater to package tourists). With the exception of the staff at the reception, everyone was... There seems to be a clear split in reviews so far and that led to my self and my partner to be a little nervous about a stay at the Djerba Palace. To our relief we arrived to find a beautiful hotel with good food, a great pool and lovely private beach. A couple of points kept cropping up on... More
