This was my second stay at this hotel. It is a family run hotel with very friendly staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. Spotlessly clean inside and out. It has it's own pool and the beach is literally across the road. With a cafe and supermarket on site, it has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Can't... More

We went back in September 2011 after the revolution and our experience was as good or better than in November 2010. For one thing the weather was warmer so we used the pool a lot. It is very clean and because it uses the ozone cleaning system, there is NO chlorine at all, and no leaves or other debris. Great... More

The hotel was quite small, especially in comparison to other hotels in the area, which all seem to be huge! We found the staff here very welcoming and friendly. The hotel itself was clean, though a bit shabby looking in some places. The pool area also looked well maintained, though we didn't actually use it.However the food we were given... More

We stayed here in the first week of October 2011. Even though Hammamet itself was coming very much to the end of the season and everything seemed fairly quiet, there was always a helpful member of staff around. Our room was clean and quite big (albeit a little dark as we were not overlooking the pool and only had a... More

This was our second stay at the Residence Romane 06/05/11-11/05/11 We were greeted at Tunis airport, as we had booked transfers directly through the hotel. £40 (89TDN) one way this was a bit pricey, but we really wanted to get to Hammamet quickly  Through our entire stay here we were always greeted with smile faces. The Three brothers Erida,... More

Just spent a week from 26/02/11 to 04/03/11. Room excellent with balcony overlooking swimming pool, fridge and T.V. with en-suite (good shower with plenty of hot water). Rooms cleaned daily - flowers on bed nice touch! Staff extremely friendly and helpful with good english. Breakfast a lovely surprise with freshly squeezed orange juice, boiled egg, yoghurt, bread, cake and croissants.... More

We stayed here for over 2 weeks, and felt very comfortable and well care for. (Unlike the previous review, we had valuables in our room and nothing was taken). The maid makes patterns on the bed everyday with fresh flowers. The rooms are large and we had a fridge and balcony. Lighting is a little dim with low wattage bulbs.... More

I stayed with two friends in Residence Romane for ten days in October. They don't change towels and sheets everyday. Bathroom could be in better conditions and much cleaner. We found a cockroach in our room, a big one. Staff was very friendly, but I can't find it useful if it's going to happen what happened to us: We had... More

Just returned from a week's stay and really enjoyed it. It's a small hotel with 24hr reception, pool and restaurant. It's extremely clean with flowers put on your bed every day, a lovely touch. The breakfast is rather sugar laden and juices very sweet but certainly gets you going for the day. All the staff are very friendly and helpful... More
